Demonstrating the psychological effects of natural aromas during a viral infection outbreak.
Aromatherapy is gaining attention as a method for stress relief that can be incorporated into daily life at home. Natural aromas derived from plants have scents that are expected to have antiviral and antibacterial properties, as well as the power to alleviate stress and promote a shift in mood. In collaboration with Kwansei Gakuin University, At Aroma conducted an experimental study on the psychological effects of aromatherapy under stress conditions. **Summary of Findings** - **62% of respondents used aromatherapy oils for stress relief.** It was found that a significant number of people utilized aromatherapy oils among various stress relief methods. - **All four types of aromatherapy oils helped to "boost mood and alleviate stress."** It was particularly noted that these oils had a greater effect on women than on men. - **The most effective use of aromatherapy was among "multitasking women working from home while raising children."** Overall, positive results were obtained, but it was particularly evident that these oils had a significant impact on women managing multiple tasks. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.*
